Stadtbus Lindau (B), new ICA traffic TVMs with CI Note Line

In November 2022, ICA traffic successfully put into operation its Dualis 2000 S TVM with CI Note Line Recycling solution at the Stadtbus Lindau. The user-friendly and barrier-free stationary vending machines are installed at the central transfer points.

The Stadtbus Lindau is the public transport system of the city of Lindau (Lake Constance). The Lindau city bus transports 2.5 million passengers a year on five routes.

ICA traffic’s Dualis 2000 S was developed for outdoor use and provides increased vandalism resistance through design and other technical measures with test certificate EN 1630, level RC4. It provides high reliability and availability as well as low maintenance costs due to modular its concept. When it comes to banknote payments the integrated CI Note Line supports these features with a high acceptance rate, low failure rate and a high modularity.

Mayor Dr. Claudia Alfons and Managing Director Hannes Rösch inaugurated the new ticket vending machines together with representatives of ICA traffic.

“In addition to the new mobile ticket vending machines on the bus, which will be installed in the coming days and weeks, stationary vending machines are now also available at the central transfer points,” said Stadtbus operations manager René Pietsch.
